I assumed that it would use the phone's processor as its timer, I would assume, would be more than accurate enough for a baseline compared to a mechanical clock. One of the Youtube videos did say that it needed an internet connection to work which I found quite odd so the use of some other time source may be used. But which one, I don't know.

I have not tried this app but it looks very interesting.  Does it say what the comparison clock?  Must be a Wi-Fi based clock.

On a personal note many of my creations are really more "genetic sculpture" than a time piece and will stall on the weather change.

I think we're all heard that " there's an app for that " but until I went looking for something to help get my wooden clock in beat, I hadn't really considered the possibility. I found ClockMaster ? It's only $10.
