Hi;

I think Art meant C:\Gearotic Motion\GearData by default, rather than C:\Gearotic Thoughts\GearData ? It's no big deal since you can set it, but my install uses default settings, and located  in C:\Gearotic Motion\GearData.

Hi Henk:

  Files are generally put in the data folder set in the options. When you enter a project name, it creates a folder and puts the output files in it.
By defaul this is C:\Gearotic Thoughts\GearData

Look in there. I set the options myself so a desktop folder keep output files. I find it easier to reach.

i think i am doing something wrong here

i would like to export a dxf file of a sprocket on to my computer to take it in to cambam

but when i am in the dxf screen and clik the export dxf button

i get a just get a messagebox where i can enter a project name and than ok

but i should get a dialogbox to tell it where to put the file ?????  wich i dont get

please what am i doing wrong here
