In the small of this morning, as Santa wakes up,
as he readies his sleigh and pours rum in his cup,
his mind is just racing, his plans in a loop,
he has wrapped up a message for all in this group.
It tucks away small, under the Tree,
the wrapping is green, as we're told it must be.
Unwrapped it reveals, no riches or gold,
just a message for all, the young and the old.
Merry Christmas, it says, Happy Holidays too,
may Kwanza be great, hope your Ridvan's not blue.
Happy Eid to those that carry its meaning,
Its a message for all, no matter your leaning.
I wax poetic only one day a year,
perhaps its the season, perhaps its the beer.
I thank you for being, a group of the best,
may your Christmas be peaceful,enjoyed, and a rest.
