More digging, there's a lot of users with names that suggest search engine web crawlers, except some of them show posts with old dates. I sorted the member list by join date to find the recent signups, then clicked on a few with non-zero posts. The posts I looked at don't look spammy but it would be hard for a new sign up to have posts from 2016. Some kind of indexing problem, maybe?

Interestingly it let me disapprove a spam post in Russian. You might have a hole somewhere if they managed to register and post.

Edit: everybody is a site admin, which isn't a good thing.

Hi All:

I just turned on the redirect from the old site to this one for the forum. As I said earlier in a post the site was, according to the old provider, attacked with a connection surge of some sort. They didn't want to host at all after that for some reason. This provider is much more powerful from an
admin point of view, so I've homed it here.
Many issues resulted as the forum is very old now and was an update from smf, through a few versions to phpforum, now updated to a more current version. This has created a great many corruptions in the database trees. Im killing them one by one, but you may expect a few weirdness's.

Thank you for your patience, I decided to rebuild as I know the data on this forum answers many questions people have and I
didnt want to see it go away as of yet. Registration is now controlled by registering from the link bottom of main page, and once
accepted by a moderator, the usual email confirmation will be sent out.

Thanks
Art

You may get refresh errors and such while using the board, still more errors to seek out, but Im getting there.

Still glitch testing

Sorry everyone for the inconvenience. The site crashed due to an attack of some kind they say
and the provider decided not to carry the forum anymore. It has been moved here.

There will be many glitches while I sort things out, as this is a rebuild of a rebuilt originally smf
forum so it hurts my head...

Patience. :)
