Hi John:

  The new program has been told to remember the last setting you used. It relaods that on startup next time.
The danger is that someone will totally screw up their settings and have difficulty getting back to normal, so Ill
probably add a general reset settings button...

John;

I think this is on the list, not sure what the outcome is at this point but will review with Art and I'll get back to you. Thanks for the feedback.

Cheers

Deault Shaft Size

Hi Art,
Certainly not a biggy but every time Gearotic opens the shaft size defaults to 0.25 in - since 90% of the gears I cut use a 0.125 in shafts it sure would be nice if I could set the default to that.  If I leave Gearotic open the shaft size stays the same for any new project so I get lulled into complacency.  When I shut the program down and open it again I often forget to set my shaft size.

As I say its a niggle only.

John
