Problem Solved.
vcredist_86 installed without error, than GT started as expected. Not sure what was happening with the installer. I was getting the dialog with only vcredist_86  available as a choice.

Hi:

  Hmm. Havent seen that fail before. Try running the install directly, youll find it in the GM folder named vcredistx86.exe

  If you run it, you will get the install messages that are supressed in the general install, perhaps theres an error that
will show up as it installs..

I beleive once you start the installation of Gearotic Motion on your computer, at the very end of the installation it will show the setup finish dialog box shown in attached picture. Here un-select the 32 bit redidtributable and then select 64 bit instead.  Please let me know if you have any issues..

Hi Art,

Re downloaded and re installed. Getting same error. Got following(attached) dialog during installation. Selected "reinstall with recommended settings". System is wn7 32 bit. How do I tell if the runtime is installed, or install it separately.

Hi Maynard:

  You need to run the 64 or 32 bit runtime for windows. The install should have asked you if youd like to run it, so reinstall then tell it to run the VC runtime install at the end of the install routine..

Fresh install of latest dev version creates attached error when attempting to run GT on win7. GM works fine.
