  Thx, I was aware of the bevel issue, its a gimble lock condition, I'm still searching for a solution.

Ill add to my list to relook at the video output, I cant see anything wrong, but it never hurts to relook
at itmes that affect more than 1 person, and I know theres a few that cannot save video for some reason.

Ill check why material changes dont save..

Hi, a couple of bugs,

If you reverse the orientation of a bevel its rotation reverses also, making it turn opposite to its shaft.
Changing colours of gears does not get saved.

Can escapements have there direction of rotation changed, not sure if i am missing it.

I still cannot take snapshots or video on Win 8.1, shows the menus but the main project area
just shows blank. This is probably a windows problem,but i guess more and more people will be
getting forced on to this appalling OS, so might come up more.
