Re: Encountered an improper argument.

Hi:

It sounds like a setting got set to zero or an illegal value. Im trying to catch those when it happens
so it cant happen again. TO fix it do the following.

Run "Regedit.exe" from your systems RUN command. In the editor, find the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Gearotic-Thoughts

Right click that entry and select export. Export the key to your desktop. Then delete the key.
That will reset all defaults back to proper setting. Send me the exported file if you can, I will then
find what it was, and fix it so it cannot happen again.

Sorry for the trouble.
Art

Encountered an improper argument.

When I first installed and ran Gearotic, it worked very well and I created a train of gears, I started a new project and now as soon as I click on circular it gives me a thought of "Encountered an improper argument and freezes pretty much everything in the program. After shutting the program down and restarting it, everything works except when I click on Circular again. I've reinstalled the program twice and the problem persists. The log shows "Warning: Pinion gear toothing will not match to wheel". Is there a way to reset to defaults to correct gear to pinion gear. Any thoughts as to correcting my problem?
