I think Ill wait until the CAD module is begun for that one, its a good idea and is
the type of thing I envision when I think of what things a gear-cad module
would offer..

Hi Art,
I don't know how hard this would be so take if for what its worth.

I quite often would like to cut a wooden gear that is thicker than my spindle (end mills) will handle easily.  Would be be possible / practical to add two or three registration dowels in the spokes or on the rim so that thinner stock could be cut and then accurately glued together?
