You need version 2.262 installed. ( the development version..)

I did mispeak ont he file name, you DO need to run Gearotic1.0.exe
after its installed. SO I thyink you just need to download and install the
development version and youll be fine.

Hi  again; I thought I had the latest 2.002 but just in case a downloaded it again Same problem.
In one answer above you said run Gearoticmotion.exe I don't have a gearoticmotion.exe file.
What i have is Gearotic1.0 which is an application file,with a gear in front of it.
That is What I got when I decompressed Gearotic1.

I am really mixed up now?

Hi Dan:

  You just need to install the latest download of Gearotic itself. It has new libraries in it, which the Gearotic you downloaded needs. To run the old, unfortunately, you must also have the newest installed...

Thanks Guys. I found the file and unziped it but I didn't get a choice to what file. I went into a file in down loads (Gearotic1 (4)).
I copied it over to my Gearotic motion file. When I tried to open it i got the following message.
Entry point not found "The procedure entry point_glewInit@0 cold not be located in the dynamic link library glew32.dll"
What do I do now??

Hi Dan:

  The file on the downloads page labeled "Archive of Gearotic1.0 " is a zip
file containing the runtime of Gearotic 1.0. Just unzip it to the same folder you have Gearotic 2.0 in.

So normally, youd unzip the Gearotic1.zip file to C:\Gearotic Motion\

Then, to run it, just go to that folder and run the GearoticMotion.exe that was in the zip file.

What Art meant, was go to www.gearotic.com and select download page, there you will see the Old archeive of Gearotic Motion, download that and install... If you don't see it at first, do a relaod of your brouser, should be fine.. Any problems please let us know..

Hi Art. I am a little slow this morning so please bear with me.
when you said to go to downloads and unzip the file I assumed you meant Gearotic files on the internet.
I looked but could not find a file any thing like Imaginary gears.
My compass is not working to good today. Could you please point me in the right direction to find this file. You may have to be a little more specific for me.

Hi Art,
Thank you for your reply. I have had other priority's for a while. I have made some changes and will  now get back to making the wooden clock i was making before.
By the way I like your new Gearotic thoughts. It is more user friendly and fits my way of thinking.
I would appreciate it if you could post the old Gearotic. I go to a number of craft fairs. I find If I can do something no one else is doing it brings more attention to my booth.

Hi Dan:

  NonCirculars are the only ones in G2. The old gearotic has imaginary gears, but I removed them as they didnt
really conform well to any type of gear and didnt mesh very well some of the time. They will be replaced with a user
specified gear soon.

I can post the old gearotic if you wish to play with them though,
