Hi Art: In a previous post I inquired about  Helical gear design.
You referred me to the Following web site.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvj8RoL ... thn908bHaA
It has 73 tutorials which are all great. They answer most of my questions.
I am having one small problem though. Some times all 73 Tutorials are not available. The list will stop at #30 or maybe #12.
what is the secret to getting access to all 73 all the time ??

As bob syas, most videos have voice, but some are low volume. There are a few ( usually very short) technology demo's with no sounds.. I use those to announce upcoming cool things at times.. :)

Dan;

I suspect it must be on how your playing them back, pretty sure most Gearotic tutorial videos found on Youtube have sound.. Please send Youtube link if you continue to have issues..

Cheers
Bob

Hi Art; Me again In going through some of the tutorials I noticed that some did not have sound. Is that right or do I have a problem in how I play them back.
thanks
Dan

Dan:

  Bob just listed how to cut one....here's how to make one..

On the tools menu, select Circular.
On the circular tab, check the radio button labeled "Helical".

Thats it.. just press Add Wheel or Pinion to project.. of course youll want to set
appropriate parameters..

Dan;

This video may help shed some light on how bevel gears are cut using 4th axis... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvj8RoL ... thn908bHaA

Here's an older version of Gearotic generating bevels, information about the bevels creation is relevant even though screens are a bit different than Gearotic2 platform... about 13:30 minutes in...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78HeJSo ... A&index=50

This link is more recent, about 6:30 minutes in...

Hope this helps

Designing Helical Gear

Hi Art: I have tried every thing I can think of to design a helical Gear in Gearotic Motion . No success.

I could use a step by step or a tutorial on helical gear design??
