Found out why I got binding gears the width in circular gears is not remembered


eg set it to 0.48 go non-circular return to circular and it is set back to .5 !!
similarly width in non-circular is not remembered !

Also resets to .5 if exit program next time I run GT


A bright side this has shown up a problem I have with shaft slackness/wobble  :-\

Was tired and frustrated I had done just that on non circular gears duh!

Set Tooth width to .48 or so, unless its noncircular, then set it to .52..  :)

i have just laser cut some circular spur wooden gears  2.5mm Mod and they bind a bit

Can solve the problem by bending the shaft a smidgen

Thought there was a way to add backlash but can't see it or remember
Using GT 2.29

Any tips or hints please
