John:

No problem. I have heard from many that wanted the old gearotics imaginary gears as well as the tooling path
calculator. Id copy those modules acrosss, but I plan to do them both better. My schedule gets a bit screwy on them
as their always seems to be another module with a bit higher priority to be done.
So Ill keep Gearotic 1.0 on the downloads till such time as I can say there's nothing in there that isnt duplicated
in 2.0.  ( or 3.0 .. or 4.0... :) )

Hi John:

On the downloads page is a zip file called archive of Gearotic 1.0, download that and unzip it to your Gearotic Motion folder, it wil never get overwritten and is the version you want. You can then run both from the same folder.

Thx

Keeping Gearotic Motion

by John T » Sun Jul 19, 2015 10:11 pm

Hi Art,
I make little gearsets for the local market and one of the favourites is the imaginary gear set simply because people think they shouldn't work.  So - I keep a copy of the old Gearotic motion to do this.

My question is how can I keep a copy of Gearotic Motion on the computer and NOT  have it update with new revisions of Gearotic Thoughts as they come along.  (Currently i have Gearotic Motion on a flash drive, which I'm afraid i'll lose.)

John
