It would be nice if, on bevels, there was an option to remove the boss on the back of the gears.
I mostly 3D print helical bevels and the boss on the back makes for a wicked overhang that requires support material to print. Even with support material the surface finish on the back of the gears is pretty bad (even by FDM printer standards). Even being able to set the boss diameter to the OD of the gear would help on this.
Also, when making large diameter bevels with large bores, if the boss diameter is smaller than bore, it still generates the boss but creates a bunch of self-intersecting faces.
