Hi Ed:

  The correction for this problem is to make the default 3d slice width smaller
in your options. This controls how many slabs make up a 3d object, it too coarse
the effect on a herringbone will be as in your photo, cut the dist to 1/4 of what you have
and I think youll ind the herring bone is fine.

  Thx for pointing that out.. I will take a look at a correction for that, the problem
is the object is sliced for creation and the slices arent meeting in the middle it seems.

One side of each of these gears has a segment at the wrong angle.

p.s. There doesn't seem to be any way to copy the settings in the UI.
