Hi Jim:

Thats great!. Always nice to see another laser online. I love the power too, so much I now have 3 lasers in total.
( 14 watt, 36watt and 48 watt).

Would it be possible to post the schematic of your interface board? This is one of the projects a lot of people
end up looking into over time and the more info we can archive on making a k40 run on a pokeys the
better.

Great work as usual...

Art

I kept the pokeys out of the k40 box so I can use it in the 3040 mill

I finally got sick of diddling around with diode lasers , bit the bullet and got a k40 .
I must say wow ,why did I wait so long . I love the power .

I might need to modify the pcb , not sure if its best to supply the 5v vdd to the a4988's from the pokey [as it is now] or to supply it from the 5v supply from the k40 supply . its seems to work ok either way
