Hi Bob:

I suspect that function has become obsolete due to age. It was using a video service from XP when written, and I think the
current codec s cannot do the job anymore. I will note to fix or remove that function, its a sign of age I think...

Video record crashing

I'm a new user so perhaps I'm doing something wrong. Using Gearotic 3.17 and Windows 11 (up to date) I would like to create a video of the gear simulation. Choosing Media > Rec causes Gearotic to crash. I've used "See Codec" to try all the different codecs and they all crash gearotic. What am I doing wrong?
I guess I should add that this isn't a critical function since I can use Windows recording, but it would be nice if it worked.
