Art, I haven't jumped into the 3D printing pool yet. Really don't have room in the shop, AKA garage, for one thing. It is almost an aerobic exercise getting from the door around to my machines and benches. My 9 year old grand son was out there with me about a month ago and was impressed ...
Thanks for the reply Art. I figured the bottom radius of the XL pulley isn't an issue as the belt will not get that low anyway, but the upper side to OD radius may be. I'm guessing that as the radius is only 0.024" , a couple licks on the sharp edge with a file would probably be good enough ...
I'm having a similar problem, but it is enough different that I don't think it is the problem described above, and maybe it's my misunderstanding of the tool description
The issue is this. The pulley is an XL pulley. All research on that form shows the bottom of the pulley grove is 1.27mm or ...
It the card. The bug follows the mix of DVI port and Primary monitor, not the monitor, after an afternoon of swapping cables and setups. Both monitors work OK on the VGA port and either one being primary. Both hang up on the DVI port and being primary.
I seem to be jumping into this boat a long time after it left the dock, but here goes
I'm trying to lay out a set of 3 XL pulleys for the motor to spindle on my Taig Lathe. My choice was 18T, 36T, and 54T stack for 1 to 3, 1 to1, and 3 to1 ratio. I keep getting the notice that my mill ...
Art, I forgot to include this. The strike out has been bugging me for a few weeks now. Not just in this forum but others also. Time to hit Goodwill store and pickup a replacement monitor I think. Or do some cable swaps and see if it may be the adaptor card. Girrrrrr ...
Art, the display lock up hit again. I know what the source of the problem is, but not the cause.
First my setup. I have a two screen Nvida GeForce GT 430 display card. #1 monitor is an older Samsung Syncmaster 19" set to 1280x1024 resolution. #2 monitor is an older Dell ...
Art, the SmartScreenFilter in Internet explorer was preventing the download. I turned the filter off and it downloaded but threw up a warning which I ignored. After installing it, windows threw up another warning that it couldn't determine the source. I ignored that one, and it is up and ...
Art, I am an inexperienced user so this issue is probably me, so I need a kick in the right direction.
Two problems happened today. I'm using a 64 bit Win7 Pro on an older Intel Core7 machine. 16gb memory. All updates current as of today. Gearotic shows Version 3.030
