This is probably a bit over the top but, if you would prefer to keep it all in house, have you considered creating an image of your existing computer and running it as a virtual machine on your new computer or on a NAS ( network attached storage ) ?

I couldn't find a forum section on forum issues, so...

Thanks deraudrl, I've just reserved a copy from my local public library.

I have Gearotic and a couple of other gear design programs. They can all do the gears just fine but I'd like to get a bit more creative in designing more visually appealing spokes. Can anyone suggest an app for that ?

I have happily been using Mach3 and Sheetcam for the last 15 or so years without anything more than the occasional hiccup. But now I've backed myself into a corner. I have designed a small CNC benchtop engraving / guilloche machine that uses lathe cutting tools instead of end mills  / router ...
