hi dave, i just print out gears on paper and glue to quality ply. I cut in between the teeth with a band saw close to the line then use a small tabletop 1" belt sander to sand to the line, ie till the line just disappears. I use a scroll for the ...

I originally made the weight as a single length but decided to cut it into sections as I almost lost a days runtime just because of the length!
Outer diameter of copper tubing is 51mm just some old plumbing pipe bought from scrap yard then used paint stripper to clean.

Here are a few photos of my latest little creation using gearotics ;D
It runs for 8 days on a wind, actually as long as you wish as long as you have a wall high enough to mount the wgt pulley :D but it was designed for 8 days and with that theme in mind it got the name "#8". It does run for 8 days ...

Thanks for the program I love it ;)
I use it to design clock works that I print out and glue to wood to cut out. It would be great to be able to have a centre mark for the gears either a dot or cross hairs to make it easier for drilling the arbor holes.
