Re: No data entry area
I tried running as Administrator and the Properties tab is showing up now. It still does not show when I run as a normal user.

No data entry area
Data entry field has disappeared. I've tried re-installing, but no change.

Re: Pulley outside diameter doesn't match spec
I'm using Fusion 360 to build the 3d model of the pulley with a hub and set screws. It has a function to create splines from stl perimeters. Fusion 360 has a problem handling dxf files with lots of short line segments, so using the stl output works best. I also get the same results ...

Pulley outside diameter doesn't match spec
I've noticed the outside diameter in the STL output for the GT2 pulleys don't match the specs. For example this 16 tooth GT2-3mm pulley has an outside diameter spec'ed at 14.5169mm and the STL output has an outside diameter of 14.68866.

Animate with a fixed gear
Is it possible to simulate and/or automate a gear train with a fixed gear such that the other gears in the train rotate around it?
I'd like to simulate the gears rotating around the white main gear in the video.

Re: Mating functional gears to circular gears
I think all of the gears that will work on a Rose Engine would need to stay tangent. I've just started modeling functional gears. It will be interesting to see what kind of patterns will be generated.
Here's a sample (We've already tried the 120T and 108T circular gears with elliptical and ...

Re: Mating functional gears to circular gears
Thanks for the reassurance. It looks like photobucket is back online, so the video should be viewable.

Re: Mating functional gears to circular gears
I've tried multiple times to attach the video as a txt file, but it's failing to post.
Another way to ask about the pressure angle is how do I ensure the pressure angle will be less than 50 when mating circular and non-circular gears?
