Gear Train Calc
Instead of having to play 'guess the error threshold' when finding a gear train, it would be nice to have a checkbox that finds the trains with the least amount of error.
Gear train is awesome.. thanks for this.. but clicking the various max error drop downs while searching can be tedious when you ...

Re: Laser or CNC?
Dumb question time...
If you output your work file (stl?) of a gear or something does it always work with all cnc machines? that's "g-code" right? is it a universal language or do you have to change per machine? etc..

But lets go at it from a different direction.. Cost.
if I wanted a CNC machine that could cut a maximum 20" diameter gear (which is a silly large gear but you get my point, up to that large ...

Re: Laser or CNC?
I'm all for buying both! But that will be a tough one to get by "she who makes decisions".. ;D

Re: Laser or CNC?
Great reply Steve thanks.
If I may ask, which Laser did you purchase? Would something like this: http://fslaser.com/40wbasic be over kill or is that exactly the kind (and price range) I'd belooking in?
