Do you have a link to your Arduino code used for the DAC signal conversion?

Saw your youtube video and want to give this build a try with my diy style galvo motors.

The light show galvos found on Ebay that are used by many to do SLA type printing are quite small (mirrors).  Smaller than the raw beam diameter of an 02 laser. 

My o2 setup has a ~5mm raw beam that goes into a 3x making it ~15mm, that's all in front of the f-theta.  My lens is ~8 ...

What size is the "Aggie" text you burn in the video?

I did some playing a year or so ago on galvos and steppers as galvos.

Well they are not true galvos. The test in the video was more of a proof of concept test with stepper motors and good old Mach3.

While I was researching galvo scanner designs (which are unexpectedly expensive) many people were nixing the idea that a stepper motor could produce enough speed ...

I have been working on a few projects for the last couple of years and Auggie may just be the missing link I need to overcome other motion control software limitations. Thanks for releasing the Alpha!!!! I look forward to testing.
