Non-Circular Planetary Gears

Hi Bob, Art,
- I have purchased a copy of Gearotic Motion when it first came out, and it sure has evolved and changed over time.
- I would love to cut out a planetary gear set with all non-circular gears.
- Is this possible now in Gearotic Motion?
- If so - how can I start back at this again.  Things seem complicated yet powerful, but daunting to learn.

I believe you can, first you select the non circular tab, create an elliptical or logrithmic shape you want then tooth it by clicking on tooth wheel., Next is your pinion gear, select the "planetary" check box bottom left and that should do it. A video does exist on YouTube if you wanted more info on how to do it?

So .. I must be really out of date... it's no longer Gearotic Motion... it's Gearotic Thoughts ?
I have V2.0 of Gearotic Motion.

I definitely need to build a Scimitar Kinetic Sculpture/Ticker...  What a great gift from Art!
