moving back and forth from project to 3 Axis

Hi Art,
Is there a nice clean way to move between the 3-axis screen and the project screen?  There is a return button when I'm on the 3-axis screen and that takes me back to the project screen, however the only way I can get back to the 3-axis screen from the project screen is to "place something on the 3-axis screen"

At times I want to go between these two screens just to check on something, like one of the parameters.  My work around is to place the gear on the 3-axis and then delete it from that screen.  This works but is a little clumsy
