When I click the Measure icon, I am able to see a white line being drawn while i hold down the left mouse button but no measurement is shown. The only numbers I see moving are the x and y coordinates (which move all the time anyway).
Anyone know how I can read measurements?
Thanks
K
Can't see a measurement when using Measure Icon
Re: Can't see a measurement when using Measure Icon
Krissy:
If you drag the center bar downwards ( click on the bar between the display section the the bottom section and hold it while pulling down..)
youll probably find the display of the distance is blocked by the bar. Thx for the report, I will move it upwards. Some displays depending
on resolution hide that reading..

Art,
I tried that too - the white line appears but I can't find any kind of result anywhere on the screen including closing the windows.

Are you getting all other text on the screen? The version I just posted had the text moved up a few lines to make sure its more easily seen..
Is this with the latest version as of a couple days back?

Re: Can't see a measurement when using Measure Icon
Art,
Well, to be honest, getting the different windows up on the screen takes some repeated attempts, but I get all the other windows up. This is on the download from last night because I was thinking that I had an earlier version. I was trying to measure the boss of the gear so I would know how big the shoulder washers would have to be.

What I see happening is the line draws, but as soon as you let the mouse button up, it disappears. Tried it again today with latest development version. Same with the undo in a different post.

What happens if you use the option in the systems options for "small" fonts?
Can you tell me your screen resolution?

Hi Art,
Resolution is 1280 x 768, 32 bit.
Same result with small - I was using medium - same with large

Thx, Ill do a check for low resolutions and move it up if detected, that may be the best way to handle it..
