Hi Art,
I don't know if I should be able to put boxing on the workbench or not but right now I can't.  The bug is that I can't change the material thickness in the boxing its at 4 and I can't change it.

Hi John:

  Just tried here and the boxing plates go to the workbench OK.. But you cant select them by clicking typically on the item, click the item on the project
tree under "Non-Shafted" items. Then right click and select "Send to workbench.

  To change the thickness, go back to the boxing tool, and just type in a new number on the thickness box and hit regen, the plates update in realtime so they
will instantly get thicker or thinner in the project.
