Hi Art,
Noticed a couple things on the MXL timing pulley
On screen geometry is skewed a bit and also carries over to the .dxf out put.
On screen view the pulley face input dimensions don't seem to be adhered to.

This is no big deal at all but the sprockets and timing pulleys rotate as gears, yes I know, who cares  ;D

What do you think on in program links to this forum and the Gearotic Home Page

  Check your "point distance" setting. The pulleys can be pretty small so you need a tight point distance.
If your in inches this shows up more often than mm's, but if in inches set your point distance to .0001 or so,
that should take away any skewing of the tops or curves. Let me know if this isnt what you mean...

    Shouldnt they? When placing a pulley or sprocket, you can place them any distane apart, but I
havent placed any fake chains or belts on them as I didnt want to slow the simulation down too much.
Prior to version 4.85 or so, we had about 2 frames per second on the sim screen, version 4.85 raised this
to about 35FPS on my machine, which means in future I may be able to add more complex things,
but historically Ive had to try to ensure I didnt waste time space by doign things like chains or belts.

The point setting took care of the problem Art.

The links mentioned was referring to hot links to this support forum and to the Gearotic home page from with in the Gearotic Motion software.
