Ability to remove specific teeth from circular gear

I have requested this before in the wrong place, but I would like to request this in the proper forum location to get on the list.

I am working on small watch gear trains (under 40mm) and want to make perpetual geartrains that require me to remove individual teeth off of circular gears, It would ...

Cage Gear Rhythmic Geneva Type

I'm using version 2.30030 and have removed random teeth off of the pinion in the Cage Gear Rhythmic Geneva type, if you do an even number of teeth on the Wheel and even or odd on the pinion, the graphical representation is off, the pins on the wheel are into the pinion.

If you do an odd tooth count ...

Re: Season 6 begins...

Sorry yes only a few teeth.

Art you are very respectable, being in IT no one replies and cares as much as you.

I guess that's how people really make a difference. Thank you for your life lessons. (Not at all trying to make my simple suggestions rise in priority)

Re: Season 6 begins...

I was hoping to see the ability to simulate circular gears with removed teeth

I already ordered my P510 Bronze for the gears ;)

Re: Is it possible to remove teeth from a circular gear?

I am trying to simulate motion, i am trying to make a date display that shows 4 digit year.

If I could get that to work I would have another display with day of week and a moon phase off that. So I would have it affect more gears down the train.

Re: Is it possible to remove teeth from a circular gear?

Thank you for speedy reply! I've been doing even gear teeth on the cages and never saw the odd work. I appreciate the difficulty in programming all these gear types :) if I could make a request to add that feature of removing individual gear teeth of circular gears, I will patiently wait for that ...

Is it possible to remove teeth from a circular gear?

I would like to simulate a counter mechanism with two gears on a shaft driven by a one tooth circular gear. I see I can drive a cage gear with a single tooth (although it's buggy) but I can't figure out how to remove teeth from a circular gear. Forgive me if this is obvious. I'm new to gearotic  :)
