With a little imagination I make pin wheel escapements with Gearotic as it is. I use the cage function for the pins and fabricate the pallets in another program like Aspire
I?ve made several successful clocks this way including an egg timer

Yes, with imagination, knowledge and other CAD software outside Gearotic everything can be done, of course, even the gears.
But the suggestion is a feature widely used in hobby watchmakers. If Gearotic has more features then it makes life easier for those who devote themselves to it in a relaxed way as a hobby.
