Hi,
Yes there are some very small spokes in there I reduced the minimum size on pinion in GT that would still produce spokes (down to 1" if I remember correctly).  Its the same spoke pattern as on the drive wheel - just smaller.  Since my spindle is very small and driven by an RC motor I can't handle anything bigger than 1/8" cutter.  These components were all cut with a 1/16 router bit at 60 imp. 

I've had to leave the "bush" so it will be some time before I can go and play again but I will post when It gets done.  Ultimately it will be spring driven and I have no idea how long it will run. We'll see.

The vanes were styled after one Mr. Roy's pieces.
I think I will call this machine Sunset.

Let us know how your family and friends react. I'm
curious about that. Yours looks as good as mine, and
Ive had great reaction, everyone seems to like it and get
mystified by it. On the other hand Ive heard
some say that their wives wouldn't allow it in the house.
  (My wife is pretty picky about decorating, but loves the ticker
and my first wooden clock. )

  I say hang it with pride, Ill bet you get hints about making one for others...
