Gearotic 2.2981

I am running Gearotic 2.2981 and I get error 1167 when I click on "StereoPhotometry".

It appears that Gearotic can not find the integrated webcam (Quanta Computer Inc. driver version 1.0.1404.1005 dated 5/14/2010) on my Dell laptop computer which is running windows 7.

Hi:

  Thx, Due to the rather extreme interest in this module, I am recoding the video capture section
and hopefully, the new code will solve its issues with other cameras. Originally I wrote this module for myself,
and since it worked with my LifeCam, I wasnt too concerned. Cant promise how long it will be, may be days,
may be hours. Ill post results as I go.

for what it's worth..
errr.. not sure if finger trouble or what.. but Gearotic 2.2981

- 4th axis tools bar missing "Step Over" button banner text - only editable user value box displayed.
- 4th axis tools bar missing "Z On/Pass" button banner text - only editable user value box displayed.
- 4th axis Simulation always paused - tool/job animation active only when I rapidly wiggle/ move the mouse?!
- 4th axis "Simulate On/Off button always "highlighted""does not change colour when selected.
- 4th axis "Pause/Run Sim reset button always "highlighted"" does not change colour when selected.

  Thanks for thenote. What OS are you using. I tested in Win7 and all seems fine, Ill check XP as well. ( I do see its a bit slower than it shoudl be though, Ill explore why..

Hi Art,
Win7 Sp1

err..mystery sorta solved...
It looks ok maximized
but
if I partially minimize the laptop screen -- the menu boxes do not re-size the menu texts
but simply "clip" the menu texts.
I have also attached 2x screen dumps of the referred screen.

Hi Charles:

  Thx, this is a klnown problem, if shrunk too  much some menu's disappear, Gearotic assumes a minimum resolution.
I hope to make that better this year..its due to technicalissues in the libraries..
