After 10 years it's time to replace the i5-5200u laptop I primarily use for CNC, and got a new core ultra 7 fancier one to replace it. Deciding what software to keep and move over to the new lappie has been a project. I was thinking of copying over all of the Gearotic program and data file, to preserve as much as possible, and then installing the latest version on top of that to sort out the WinDoze stuff. It'll be moving from W10 to W11. Is there a better way?
