Project database disappears

Hi Art & Bob,

This has now happened a few times. Occasionally, when I try to place a new gear on the screen, the gear jumps to an unwanted position, with the wrong gear highlighted. When I try to remove this gear, by selecting it in the project database, the database freezes and I cannot delete the gear. I can still use everything else and run simulations. However, if I try to create another gear and return to the project screen, the database has disappeared and nothing I do can get it back yet everything else works just fine.

In the attached screen shot, the single lobed eccentric gear at the top left should have been placed at the top right, on the solid, three lobed gear.

When this has happened before, after a period of a few minutes, GM just shut itself down. After about four abortive attempts, I have finally managed to make a movie though not yet of the finished train.
